John Boardman
John has been with Pochins for nine years, commencing as a student on an Industrial Training Placement from Bolton University; Pochins sponsored John through the final year of his BSc in Construction. On completion of his degree, John returned as a Graduate Engineer, progressing through to Site Manager. In his spare time, John is a season ticket holder for Liverpool FC and he likes to spend his holidays travelling all over Europe supporting his team - he also manages to play for a local team twice a week and he is planning to get married in 18 months' time!
Iain Grant
Iain originally started as an Apprentice Joiner at 16, and after completing his apprenticeship, Iain continued studying, achieving ONC, HNC and a BSc in Construction . Iain has progressed from a Joiner to Site Engineer through the Site Management route and he is currently working as a Project Manager. Away from work, Iain has two children to keep him busy; he is a DIY enthusiast and is currently renovating a cottage that he purchased three years ago. Iain has a Kawasaki motorbike but unfortunately doesn't get to spend much time riding it.
Lisa Schofield
Lisa joined Pochins 18 months ago as a Quantity Surveyor; she has just completed her BSc in Quantity Surveying at John Moores University and found time to get married Summer 2008 in St Lucia. In her spare time Lisa puts herself through her paces by getting involved in mini triathlons; prior to this she was a keen half marathon runner.
