POCHIN COMPLETES ANOTHER FREDERIC ROBINSON CONTRACT
Pochin Construction, part of Cheshire-based Pochin's PLC, has completed the £480,000 refurbishment of The Red Lion public house in Disley, near Stockport, on behalf of Frederic Robinson Ltd.
Pochin began this major refurbishment in July 2009, and works
comprised the complete refurbishment of the existing public house,
with extensions including the introduction of new Green Oak
entrance features. The kitchen area was also extended and
re-equipped to cater for the increased dinning facility offered by
the incoming landlord. Improvements were also made to the external
elevations, surrounding landscape and car park areas.
Senior contacts manager, Chris Whittaker, commented: "The
refurbishment has totally transformed The Red Lion and I'm sure
it will prove very popular. The programme was extremely tight but
as always everyone worked exceptionally well as a team to make sure
it was completed on time and to an excellent standard. We are proud
of our continued involvement with Frederic Robinson on their
rolling programme of new build and refurbishment works."
Project Administrators and Architects were Innex Design Ltd based in Warrington, in conjunction with Neil Robinson-Stanier, one of the Brewery Directors.
