POCHIN DELIVERS ITS EIGHTH PROJECT AT BUCKSHAW LINK
Cheshire-based Pochin Contractors has completed its £10m project at Buckshaw Link, in Chorley, Lancashire on behalf of Helios Group.
This latest contract, measuring 20,995 sq m (226,000 sq ft), brings the total number of units, which Pochin has undertaken at Buckshaw Link to 19. Set on a 15-acre site, Buckshaw Link forms part of Buckshaw Village, which, at 500-acres forms one of the largest mixed-use projects in the North West.
On the completion, Rob Trevor, development at Helios Properties comments: "We are delighted to have completed this scheme, which we have forward funded with CBRE shed investors. With four units already under offer, the scheme is drawing in occupiers from across the region. We have worked well with Pochin's on site team and are very pleased with the quality and finish achieved."
Jonathan Pochin, contracts director at Pochin comments: "This project marks our first contract for Helios Group at Buckshaw and our eighth on the overall Buckshaw village complex, the other six being for Redrow Commercial and one for Wolseley.
"Being appointed by national developers is testament to our ability to consistently deliver the right product to the highest specification."
