POCHIN GOLF DAY RAISES RECORD AMOUNT FOR BREAST CANCER UK
Rain didn't stop play at Pochin's annual golf tournament as
the property industry turned out in force at Carden Park in
Cheshire, to raise its largest amount to date, £7,000 for
Breast Cancer UK.
22 teams arrived at Carden Park Golf and Country Club to compete for the coveted Pochin Charity trophy and raise money for a worthy cause.
After 18 holes, the score cards were in and guests were invited to a Gala Dinner, where Jim Nicholson, managing director of Pochin Developments and his team were crowned this year's winners. When the presentations were complete the guests were entertained until the early hours of the morning with live music.
Richard Fildes, Chairman of Pochin's PLC commented: "To raise the most amount of money we have ever done, since the Pochin Golf Day began 13 years ago is remarkable, particularly in these challenging times. On behalf of Pochin's I would like to thank those who attended for braving the weather to support such a worthy cause."
"Over the past 13 years, Pochin's has raised over £120,000 for a host of local charities and we look forward to continuing to build on this total in the years to come."
The Pochin Golf Day and Gala Dinner was managed by event co-ordinator InConnection. InConnection specialise in events that motivate, reward and incentivise people.
