POCHIN PULLS THE PERFECT PINT WITH ANOTHER CONTRACT WIN FOR FREDERIC ROBINSON
Cheshire-based Pochin Construction has been appointed by Stockport brewer, Frederic Robinson Limited to undertake the refurbishment of The Red Lion Public House in Disley, Cheshire.
Located on the A6 road, the contract will include the complete
refurbishment of the ground floor dining and bar areas, catering
kitchen and toilets, as well as a new garden area to the side of
the building.
Antony Pochin, business strategy director of Pochin Construction
commented: "The majority of our work is derived from repeat
business and being awarded this contract is further evidence of
Pochin's expertise in delivering leisure facilities. We have
enjoyed a relationship with Robinson's Breweries, which
stretches back over 30 years, and so when the client personally
requested our site manager, Neil Bosson by name, we of course
obliged!"
This is the latest in a host of schemes, on which Pochin has been
appointed by the brewer. Other contracts inlude the expansion of
the Frederic Robinson's Unicorn Packaging Centre in Bredbury,
the refurbishment of the Grapes at Gee Cross, and in the Lake
District and the Albert Inn, Bowness-on-Windermere.
The work on the Red Lion is due to be completed in November 2009.
