POCHIN TO BUILD SUBWAY RESTAURANT IN ROCHDALE
Pochin Special Projects, a division of Cheshire-based Pochin's PLC, has been granted a £308,840 contract to construct a drive-thru Subway restaurant on Sandbrook Park in Rochdale.
The Special Projects team has been appointed to construct the shell of the new 162 sq m (1,754. sq ft) drive-thru restaurant. The contract also includes the development of car parking facilities as well as the drive-thru access to the restaurant. The client, AIG Holdings Limited, has agreed a 17-week contract, anticipating for works to be completed by the end of July 2011.
Anthony Pochin, operations director of Pochin Special Projects, commented: "As this is a shell project, we will be collaborating with our working partner G M Services, to complete the scheme. Together we have engineered the contract to arrive at a design that meets both the client and their customer's requirements."
